Growing Instructions

Wildflower Bee & Butterfly Mix Seed Packets

This delightful mixture includes Lavender Hyssop, Rockcress, New England Aster, Beeplant, Lance-Leaved Coreopsis, Plains Coreopsis, Dwarf Cosmos, Chinese Forget-Me-Not, Purple Coneflower, Aspen Daisy, California Poppy, Annual Gaillardia, Globe Gilia, Tidy Tips, Sweet Alyssum, Bergamot, Baby Blue Eyes, Corn Poppy and Ohio Spiderwort.  Decide where to start your wildflower garden.  Can be started in a pot with good drainage, or a small area outside with moderate to full sunshine and a sandy/soil mix with good drainage.  After last frost, sow the seeds 1-2 inches deep, they can be sown in summer but may require extra water.  Once the plants go to seed, they will repopulate the following year. Some plants will sprout within days, some may take months to emerge (ie: forget-me-nots).  Bees and butterfly species will flock to your garden with this mixture available with custom Handmade Paper Packets designed for your event.  From baby showers to weddings, memorials and birthdays, custom packaging is available.

Sunflower Seed Packets

Plant seeds 1-2 inches deep and 8-12 inches apart in loose soil and full sun. For the best results, plant sunflower seeds only when the spring is warm and all danger of frost is past.  Sunflowers will require a lot of sun to grow to their full height of approximately 8 feet.  Handmade Paper Packages are customized for your event, they make nice favours for everything from birthdays to memorials.  Sunflowers are symbolic for happiness.

Forget-Me-Not Seed Packets

Sow outdoors May-June. They will grow to a height of 6-8 inches, sprouting multiple small blue flowers. You can start seed indoors 8-10 weeks before planting out, or sow directly outdoors after risk of frost has passed.  Forget Me Nots will require full sun to part shade locations such and are a perfect addition to rock gardens.  Handmade Paper Packages are customized for your event, they make nice mementos for memorials.
